Araghchi referred to the continuous and high-level consultations between Tehran and Moscow, saying that over the past year, the presidents of Iran and Russia have met five times, which shows the serious commitment of the two nations to expand relations within the framework of the Iran-Russia Strategic Partnership.
Araghchi underscored that Wednesday's meeting provided an important opportunity to follow up on the agreements reached by the two presidents regarding bilateral cooperation and to further coordinate the two sides’ perspectives on regional and international issues.
He then described Tehran-Moscow relations as deep and comprehensive, noting that the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation has significantly accelerated bilateral relations and opened up numerous opportunities for cooperation in all political, economic, security, defense, energy, scientific and technological, cultural, tourism, and investment fields.
