Serbian FM condoles with Iran over president foreign minister demise stresses Tehran- Belgrade ties will continue to grow

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric spoke to Iran’s acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri on the phone and extended condolences and sympathy over the demise of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on behalf of his government and nation saying their memories will be etched on minds forever.

 

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric spoke to Iran’s acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri on the phone and extended condolences and sympathy over the demise of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on behalf of his government and nation, saying their memories will be etched on minds forever.

 

Echoing the Serbian president’s message, who called the late Iranian president and foreign minister true friends of Serbia, Djuric underlined his country’s solidarity with the Iranian government and nation.

 

He once again expressed his deep condolences to the Iranian Leader, government and nation, and voiced hope that the ties between the two countries will continue to expand.

 

Meanwhile, the Iranian acting foreign minister expressed gratitude to the Serbian officials for their sympathy.

 

He said, “We will put these hard days behind with faith in God and by relying on the honorable people of Iran, and the Iranian nation will continue to move on the path of growth and development.”

 

Bagheri also reiterated that Iran is determined to bolster ties with Serbia.
