Iran Oman say favor stronger all-out ties

The Sultanate of Oman’s special representative Abdulaziz Al Hinai who has taken a trip to Tehran to participate in the 19th meeting of the foreign ministers of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) member states met and held talks with Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri on the sidelines of the event.

   

The Sultanate of Oman’s special representative Abdulaziz Al Hinai, who has taken a trip to Tehran to participate in the 19th meeting of the foreign ministers of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) member states, met and held talks with Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri on the sidelines of the event.

 

Bagheri underlined the Iranian government’s determination to continue martyred President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian’s path and approach in pursuing the neighborhood policy and developing and enhancing all-out ties with the neighboring countries, especially the Sultanate of Oman.

 

Meanwhile, Oman’s special representative expressed gratitude to the Islamic Republic of Iran for hosting the ACD meeting in Tehran. He also offered condolences and sympathies on the part of himself as well as Oman’s government and nation on the tragic loss of the martyred Iranian president and foreign minister and commemorated his meetings with them.

 

Al Hinai also expressed hope that Iran would hold successful presidential elections, adding he was confident that the Iranian government and nation would put behind the current sensitive juncture and would continue treading in the path of development, prosperity, and promotion of ties with neighboring and friendly countries.

 

Furthermore, both sides exchanged views on some regional and international issues of mutual concern.
