Iranian South Korean Foreign Ministers hold phone talks on bilateral ties regional developments

South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun held a telephone conversation with Irans Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun held a telephone conversation with Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

During the call, the two sides referred to the history of good relations between the two countries and emphasized the importance of a forward-looking approach to expanding mutual ties.

Iran's Foreign Minister, explaining the current situation in the Persian Gulf region and the Strait of Hormuz, noted that the imposed insecurity in the region and its global consequences stem from the aggressive actions of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
He stressed that they must be held accountable by the international community for this lawbreaking and the crimes committed.

The South Korean Foreign Minister, reaffirming his country's position on the necessity of ensuring maritime security and safety in the region and the world, expressed hope that diplomatic processes would yield results as swiftly as possible.
