Iranian FM and Vatican secretary for relations with states hold telephone conversation

In a telephone conversation Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Vatican Secretary for Relations with States Archbishop Richard Gallagher held talks over the latest developments in bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments.

In a telephone conversation, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Vatican Secretary for Relations with States Archbishop Richard Gallagher held talks over the latest developments in bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments.

Referring to the long-standing and good relations between Iran and the Vatican, Araghchi stressed the importance of the continuation of religious dialogues and consultations between the two sides.
He voiced hope that these interactions will lead to the strengthening of mutual understanding between the followers of religions and help promote peace and justice in the world based on the shared teachings of Abrahamic religions.

Archbishop Gallagher also appreciated the constructive approach of the Islamic Republic of Iran to maintaining and expanding interactions between the two sides. He further stressed the need for all sides to make efforts to maintain peace and promote justice in the world.
