Iran’s new envoy to Denmark meets FM Araghchi

Seyed Mohammad Reza Sajjadi new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Denmark has met Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on the eve of his departure for the place of mission.

Seyed Mohammad Reza Sajjadi, new ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Denmark, has met Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on the eve of his departure for the place of mission.

Sajjadi briefed Araghchi on his place of assignment
and the process of further expanding bilateral relations between the two countries. 

Araghchi referred to plans aimed at boosting bilateral relations with the Danish side, stressing the need to pursue the policy of interaction and constructive dialogue with Europe within the framework of the foreign policy of the 14th government.

He also wished the Iranian ambassador to Copenhagen success in his new capacity.

Sajjadi has previously served in such positions as assistant director general for South Asia, ambassador and permanent representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the UN headquarters in Geneva, Director General for International Political Affairs at the Foreign Ministry, head of the Indian Subcontinent Department of the Ministry and Deputy Permanent Representative of Iran to UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP).
