: Iranian Pakistani FMs hold phone conversation

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, spoke by phone on Friday evening.

During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed gratitude to the Pakistani government and nation for their warm hospitality extended to Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and his accompanying delegation, and voiced hope that the understandings and agreements reached during the visit would be seriously pursued and operationalized at various levels.

Pakistan's Foreign Minister, in turn, thanked the Iranian President for his visit to Islamabad and briefed his Iranian counterpart on the measures and follow-ups undertaken by Pakistani authorities to secure the release of the Iranian crew of the vessel Lenor Davina.

The two foreign ministers also reviewed the latest developments in ongoing diplomatic processes and underscored the need to continue close cooperation and consultations aimed at establishing lasting peace and stability in the region.
