Iranian FMs discuss regional developments US-Israeli threats
The consequences of such a situation will not be limited to Iran and the region they will have devastating effects on global energy and the world economy the responsibility for which will rest solely with US officials and the aggressors.
Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, held a telephone conversation regarding the latest regional developments and international issues related to the imposed war by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
Iran’s top diplomat, referring to US threats to attack Iran’s infrastructure, emphasized: “This threat amounts to the normalization of war crimes and genocide, and if carried out, it will undoubtedly be met with a decisive and comprehensive response from the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Araghchi added: “The consequences of such a situation will not be limited to Iran and the region; they will have devastating effects on global energy and the world economy, the responsibility for which will rest solely with US officials and the aggressors.”
The French Foreign Minister, while stressing the need to end the war, stated that threats to attack infrastructure would increase tensions in the region and underscored the necessity of resolving issues through diplomacy.
The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on consular matters between the two countries.
