Iranian Swiss FMs talk on phone discuss ties intl. developments

Irans Minister of Foreign Affairs Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with his Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis this Sunday evening exchanging views on bilateral relations and a number of international issues.

 

 

Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, held a telephone conversation with his Swiss counterpart, Ignazio Cassis, this Sunday evening,  exchanging views on bilateral relations and a number of international issues.

 

In this conversation, the Iranian Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for Switzerland’s constructive role during the nuclear negotiations in the 2010s, and briefed his Swiss counterpart on the recent developments concerning the ongoing indirect talks between Iran and the United States.

 

The Swiss Foreign Minister, for his part, welcomed the course of the Iran-U.S. negotiations and reiterated his country's readiness to extend any form of assistance in support of the dialogue
