Iranian Omani FMs meet ahead of 4th round of indirect Iran-U.S. talks

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is leading a delegation to Oman for the fourth round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, met and held talks with Sayyid Badr al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, upon arrival in Muscat.
In the meeting, Araghchi expressed his gratitude to his Omani counterpart and to the government of Oman for hosting the talks and for playing a key facilitating role in the Iran-U.S. negotiations. He outlined Iran’s views on the most significant dimensions of the discussions and elaborated on the country’s principled and foundational positions in this regard.
The Omani Foreign Minister, for his part, reaffirmed his country’s determination to provide all necessary assistance in facilitating the negotiation process and briefed Araghchi on the arrangements and preparations made for this round of talks
