Iran’s foreign minister meets Qatari prime minister on bilateral regional developments

The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who has traveled to Doha to attend the Fourth Iran-Arab World Dialogue Conference, met and held talks with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, on Saturday evening.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to expand ties between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
The Iranian and Qatari foreign ministers also reviewed the latest regional developments, particularly the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza following the two-year genocide by the Zionist regime and its obstruction of food and medical aid to the besieged enclave.
They emphasized the importance of greater cooperation among regional countries to end the suffering of the oppressed Palestinian people.
During the meeting, Iran’s foreign minister also briefed his Qatari counterpart on the developments related to the indirect Iran-US negotiations.
