Iranian، Iraqi FMs talk regional developments on the phone

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein held talks over regional and international developments on the phone.

 

 

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein, held talks over regional and international developments on the phone.

 

Araghchi outlined Iran’s views about regional and international developments and briefed the top Iraqi diplomat on the recent indirect talks between Iran and the US in Muscat and the next round of the negotiations which will be held in a European country with the Omani foreign minister acting as host.

 

Iraq’s foreign minister for his part appreciated Iran’s approach and its adherence to diplomacy and

dialog for the purpose of resolving disputes.

Hussein also welcomed the initiative and hailed Oman’s role in the talks.

The Iraqi foreign minister expressed hope that these constructive interactions will produce positive results for the entire region with the constructive approach of all sides
