FM Araghchi talks with IAEA director general

Irans Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Rafael Grossi Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) who is currently in Washington.

 

 

On Tuesday evening, ahead of his official visit to China, Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), who is currently in Washington.

 

During the conversation, Araghchi referenced the Islamic Republic of Iran’s goodwill and seriousness in pursuing the path of diplomacy. He then briefed Director General Grossi on the latest developments concerning the ongoing indirect negotiations with the United States.

 

Grossi, in turn, praised Iran’s responsible approach and reaffirmed the Agency’s readiness to provide any necessary support within the scope of its duties and mandate under the IAEA Statute
