Iran Egypt foreign ministers discuss regional developments bilateral ties
Iranian Foreign Minister and his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdel-Aty had a phone conversation on Wednesday evening to discuss the developments in the region and bilateral relations.

The two foreign ministers described the situation in the region as dangerous and emphasized that the international community should take urgent and effective measures to establish a ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza, highlighting the special role of Islamic countries in this regard.
Both ministers expressed satisfaction with the positive trend of consultations between Tehran and Cairo in recent months including the meeting of the Iranian and Egyptian presidents in Kazan, Russia.
They stressed that continuing the talks would serve the interests of both countries and peoples of Iran and Egypt
