Iran’s acting FM congratulates Muslim countries on Eid al-Adha

Ali Bagheri Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran sent separate congratulatory messages to the foreign ministers of Islamic countries on the occasion of Eid al-Adha extending his congratulations to his counterparts and Muslims around the world.

In these messages, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs described Eid al-Adha as a valuable opportunity to strengthen solidarity among Islamic countries and to remind them of their shared responsibility in promoting common ideals and achieving global justice and peace.

 

In another part of his message, Bagheri stated: "While Eid al-Adha is a blessed day for all Islamic countries, the Muslim people of the occupied Palestinian territories have been victims of oppression, injustice, and brutal attacks by the most horrific creatures of the world, for more than eight months, under the silence of international bodies and the support of Western countries. The people of Gaza are performing Eid prayers in a situation where the ruthless Zionist regime has turned homes and mosques into ruins, and the residents of this area are each moment awaiting their martyrdom or the sacrifice of their 'Ishmaels.'"

 

He further emphasized in his message: "Now that the unparalleled steadfastness and historically powerful patience of the oppressed Palestinian people against the crimes of the child-killing and apartheid Zionist regime has made the issue of Palestine the most significant crisis of humanity today, it is imperative for all Muslim countries and freedom-seekers around the world to stand with the Palestinian people by comprehensively boycotting the Israeli regime and condemning the crimes of this racist regime and to swiftly end this merciless slaughter and genocide."

 

In concluding his message, the Acting Foreign Minister prayed to Almighty God for the health, success, prosperity, and happiness of Muslim nations under the umbrella of global peace.
