As part of his visit to Iraq, Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Hossein Amirabdollahian held a meeting with Nouri al-Maliki, the head of the State of Law Coalition of Iraq.
During the meeting, Amirabdollahian congratulated Maliki on the formation of an all-inclusive government in Iraq, saying Iran’s main wish is Iraq’s development and stability.
For his part, Maliki explained the latest political status of Iraq and domestic political parties, saying an all-out expansion of ties with Iran is a priority on Iraq’s foreign policy agenda.
