Iranian Saudi FMs hold telephone conversation

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan held talks over regional and international developments as well as bilateral ties during a telephone conversation.

While outlining Iran’s views about regional and international developments, Araghchi briefed the top Saudi diplomat on the recent indirect talks between Iran and the US in Muscat and the next round of the negotiations which will be held in a European country with the Omani foreign minister acting as host. 

 

Bin Farhan for his part thanked Araghchi for informing him of the talks and welcomed the negotiations. The Saudi foreign minister expressed hope that the talks will produce the desired results for Iran and the broader region
