Iran deputy FM talks Yemen with UN envoy

During this meeting, the parties discussed the latest military and political developments in Yemen, the status of the peace agreement, the Special Envoy's statement on July 23 regarding the most recent agreements among Yemenis on various economic, financial, and humanitarian issues, as well as the regional repercussions of the massacre of defenseless Palestinians on escalating tensions and insecurity in the region.
Khaji, during the meeting, condemned the support of the United States and certain Western countries for the genocide of the Palestinian people by the Zionist regime and called for the United Nations to play a more effective role in establishing a ceasefire and preventing the slaughter of defenseless Palestinians.
He also expressed support for the political resolution of the Yemeni crisis, emphasizing Iran's readiness to assist with political dialogues, addressing the humanitarian crisis, and facilitating the exchange of all prisoners between the parties.
Additionally, Khaji praised the decision by Ansarullah to agree to the rescue operation of the damaged oil tanker in the Red Sea and expressed hope that this operation would be completed as quickly as possible to eliminate the risk of environmental contamination.
The UN Special Envoy for Yemen, in turn, elaborated on the latest efforts by the United Nations to establish peace, exchange prisoners, and hold economic dialogue meetings among the Yemenis.
