Araghchi meets Spanish FM calls for European action against US aggression

Seyed Abbas Araghchi Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran who is in New York to attend the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly met and held talks with José Manuel Albares Bueno Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain on Thursday morning.

Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who is in New York to attend the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly, met and held talks with José Manuel Albares Bueno, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, on Thursday morning.

The Iranian Foreign Minister, outlining the ongoing developments in the West Asia region, stressed the importance of European countries adopting a responsible approach consistent with international law toward the US aggressive and unlawful actions against Iran.

The Foreign Minister also, referring to the continued occupation and genocide of the Palestinians and Israel’s aggressive expansionism in the region, underscored the responsibility of all states to stop these acts of aggression and hold the Zionist perpetrators accountable and punish them.

The two sides also discussed and exchanged views on bilateral relations between Iran and Spain.
