Iran condemns Israeli regime’s seizure of Palestinian lands in the West Bank

Esmail Baghaei Spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the recent decision by the Israeli regime to confiscate and register Palestinian lands in the West Bank of the Jordan River as “state property” under the sovereignty of the occupying regime.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson described the move as a continuation of the policy of genocide against the Palestinian people and part of a broader colonial plan aimed at the erasure of Palestine.

He underscored the responsibility of the international community and all member states of the United Nations to confront this situation and put an end to the impunity of the Israeli regime.

 

He further referred to the explicit condemnation of this illegal and criminal act by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and most countries, stressing the need for decisive and effective action by the United Nations to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities regarding the ongoing grave violations of the rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to life and self-determination.
