Iran condemns Israeli regime’s crimes in West Bank

Esmaeil Baghaei Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemned the recent decision by the political and security cabinet of the Israeli regime to seize more Palestinian land in the West Bank.

Esmaeil Baghaei, Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, strongly condemned the recent decision by the political and security cabinet of the Israeli regime to seize more Palestinian land in the West Bank.

He said the move aims to expand illegal settlements, entrench the occupation, and consolidate security control over this part of the occupied Palestinian territories, while the genocide in Gaza Strip continues.

The Foreign Ministry spokesperson, referring to the ongoing killing of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and to grave violations of human rights and humanitarian law — including the continued unlawful detention of Palestinians and the severe torture of detainees — described these criminal acts as part of a broader policy of genocide against Palestinians and the colonial eradication of Palestine.

He underscored the shared responsibility of all governments to prevent the continuation of the genocide of the Palestinian people and the escalating confiscation of their lands.

Baghaei further stated that the impunity enjoyed by the Israeli regime, along with continued comprehensive support from the United States and certain European countries, particularly Germany and United Kingdom, has enabled the continuation of the genocide against Palestinians.

He also strongly criticized the inaction of the United Nations and other relevant international bodies regarding the Israeli regime’s colonial and expansionist policies.

He reaffirmed the principled position of the Islamic Republic of Iran in supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, particularly their right to self-determination, liberation from occupation, and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital.
