Iran, Azerbaijan Republic FMs hold telephone conversation

During the call, they exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional issues, and certain matters of mutual interest.

Both sides emphasized the development of bilateral political relations and discussed issues related to expanding cooperation between the two countries in areas such as energy, transit, transportation, border affairs, and the implementation of mutual agreements and economic projects.
They also addressed coordination regarding future visits by high-ranking officials of the two countries.

During the conversation, Iran's Foreign Minister underscored the Islamic Republic of Iran's continued approach based on the policy of good neighborliness and the development of relations with the Republic of Azerbaijan in various fields.
