Iranian Saudi foreign ministers meet in Jeddah
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi met and held talks with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan on the sidelines of the event.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who has traveled to the Saudi city of Jeddah to attend the extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), met and held talks with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, on the sidelines of the event.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the state of bilateral relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia and reiterated that both countries are determined to advance the shared goals of their leaders in developing relations across all fields.
The two sides also discussed the latest regional and international developments, stressing the necessity for the Islamic world to focus on addressing challenges, particularly regarding occupied Palestine and preventing the conspiracy to erase Palestine through the forced displacement of the people of Gaza from the strip.
