Iran Egypt FMs meet in Jeddah discuss bilateral issues regional developments Palestine
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty on the sidelines of the meeting.
The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who has taken a trip to the Saudi city of Jeddah to take part in the extraordinary meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Foreign Ministers, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty, on the sidelines of the meeting.
The senior diplomats discussed bilateral issues, regional developments, and the situation in occupied Palestine.
The Iranian and Egyptian foreign ministers rejected any plan that involves the forced displacement of the people of Gaza and advances the conspiracy of ethnic cleansing and the erasure of Palestine.
They emphasized that the continuation and deepening of solidarity among the Islamic Ummah and the international community with the Palestinian people is essential to support their liberation from occupation and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
They also welcomed the joint decision of the OIC foreign ministers in this regard.
