Iran condemns attacks on civilian targets in Sudan

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei has condemned the killing of civilians and attacks on civilian targets and infrastructure especially hospitals and public facilities in Sudan.

 

 

 

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Esmail Baqaei, has condemned the killing of civilians and attacks on civilian targets and infrastructure, especially hospitals and public facilities in Sudan.

 

Baqaei expressed sympathy for the victims of the recent attacks, which led to the deaths of dozens of civilians, particularly in the city of El-Fasher.

 

He emphasized the need to adhere to international humanitarian laws and principles, especially the prohibition on directing attacks against civilian targets or sites.

 

Baqaei also called for an end to the conflicts and urged for a political solution to the ongoing crisis in Sudan.
