The UN chief’s special envoy for Syria Gir Pederson and a senior adviser to Iranian foreign minister for political affairs Aliasghar Khaji have held online consultations regarding the situation in Syria.
In this conversation, the two sides discussed and examined the latest developments in Syria, especially in light of the military aggression of terrorist groups there.

He emphasized that the people of Syria and the resistance will not allow these sinister objectives to materialize.
The senior advisor to Iran's Foreign Minister stressed the urgent need for an immediate halt to these military aggressions by terrorist groups and highlighted the role and responsibility of the international community in effectively combating terrorism.
