Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, had a phone conversation on Wednesday with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi.
They discussed the interactions between Iran and the atomic agency following Grossi's visit to Tehran and the developments related to the IAEA's Board of Governors meeting.
The Iranian foreign minister pointed out that the understandings reached during Grossi's visit to Iran once again demonstrated the Islamic Republic of Iran’s goodwill and determination to enhance interactions and cooperation with the IAEA.
During the telephone call, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing talks and interaction to resolve differences and address other topics on the agenda, while avoiding non-constructive and confrontational approaches.
The head of the Iranian diplomatic service also underlined if the opposing parties disregard Iran's goodwill and cooperative approach and pursue non-constructive actions by issuing resolutions through the Board of Governors meeting, Iran will respond appropriately and proportionately.
