Iran FM meets Omani Minister of Royal Office in Muscat

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi who is visiting Oman as part of his efforts to hold diplomatic consultations with regional countries on Monday met with General Sultan Bin Muhammad al-Nuamani Minister of the Royal Office of the Sultanate of Oman.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, who is visiting Oman as part of his efforts to hold diplomatic consultations with regional countries, on Monday met with General Sultan Bin Muhammad al-Nu'amani, Minister of the Royal Office of the Sultanate of Oman.

In the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments in Gaza and Lebanon. They described the situation in the region as dangerous and underlined the need for increased efforts to prevent the imposition of war and instability in the region.

They also said the continuation of the genocide and aggression of the Zionist regime in Gaza and Lebanon is the root cause of insecurity and instability in West Asia and called for practical and immediate actions by the international community to stop the Zionist regime's crimes and war-mongering.

During the meeting, the two officials also underscored the necessity of more consultations between regional countries in order to prevent an escalation of insecurity and maintain peace in West Asia and also to send necessary aid to the displaced in Gaza and Lebanon.
