The Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baghai has strongly condemned the Zionist regime’s attack on an Iranian Red Crescent field hospital situated on the Syria-Lebanon border, labeling it as a clear example of war crime.

Baghai pointed out that attacks on hospitals and healthcare facilities are prohibited under recognized international humanitarian laws.

He highlighted the repeated attacks by the occupying regime on hospitals and medical centers in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria as a clear indication of the regime's defiance of all international rules and norms.

The spokesperson urged relevant international bodies, including the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), to give a clear response and condemn the Zionist regime’s moves as war crimes.

Baghai also stressed the urgency of mobilizing the international community to assist hundreds of thousands of Lebanese who have been displaced from their homes due to intensified attacks by the Zionist regime on civilian areas in Lebanon over the past two weeks.

He underlined the responsibility of the United Nations and other pertinent international organizations, particularly the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the Red Cross, to provide immediate assistance to the displaced.
