Kanaani strongly slammed the silence and even support by the US and some Western countries for the Zionist regime.

The spokesperson warned of the regime’s ongoing crimes against the Palestinian nation and its attempt to spread the war to the entire region, and the dangerous fallout of the new adventurism by the Zionists.

Describing the raids as insane, he pointed out that the leniency shown towards the Zionist regime’s crimes during the past year has emboldened the regime to continue its crimes and pursue the policy of genocide.

Kanaani stated that the Zionist regime's ongoing crimes in Palestine and the expansion of these crimes into Lebanon are clear examples of a serious threat to regional and international peace and security.

The top diplomat called on the United Nations Security Council to urgently take a measure to put a halt to the crimes.
