Iran Foreign Ministry Spokesman: West provision of weapons to Zionists against intl. commitments

Despite claims of peace advocacy and verbal opposition from American officials to escalating tensions in West Asia the US government’s military support for the war crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank has continued unabated and on a large scale.

Despite claims of peace advocacy and verbal opposition from American officials to escalating tensions in West Asia, the US government’s military support for the war crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank has continued unabated and on a large scale.

Simultaneously with the news of the arrival of the 500th American plane, loaded with various lethal weapons, at the airports of the Zionist regime—which reportedly amounts to over 50,000 tons of assistance—it was announced that the number of victims of the genocide against the oppressed Palestinian nation over the past 11 months had reached 41,000.
Meanwhile, approximately 70% of the victims of these inhumane atrocities are innocent children and women.

According to newly published statistics, the Zionist regime has dropped an average of 36 kilograms of bombs and missiles on every Palestinian resident of the Gaza Strip, setting a world record in brutality and savagery, unmatched even by the bloodiest regimes in human history.

Some other European and Western countries, which, like the US, present themselves as global champions of human rights and defenders of international conventions and treaties, have contributed to the genocide and war crimes of the Zionist regime over the past eleven months by sending various bombs and deadly weapons.

There is no doubt that the continued supply of weapons and the reinforcement of the Zionist regime’s machinery of genocide and war crimes by the US and certain Western countries contradicts the clear commitments of the international community to prevent and punish perpetrators of genocide, as stipulated in the 1948 Genocide Convention. Under this convention, states have a clear responsibility to prevent genocide, punish those responsible, and ensure that their weapons are not used to commit genocide.

The dissemination of false and misleading information regarding the transfer of Iranian weapons to certain countries is nothing more than a vile propaganda ploy and a blatant lie aimed at concealing the vast and illegal arms support provided by the US and some Western countries for the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Such deceitful claims must not divert the global community’s attention from their responsibility to halt the Zionist regime’s war crimes and mass killings and to hold its supporters accountable.
