Kanaani rejects media reports regarding vote results outside Iran

Iranian Foreign Ministery Spokesmsn rejected some unofficial reports about vote results in a number of embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in other countries.

Iranian Foreign Ministery Spokesmsn Nasser Kanaani rejected some unofficial reports about vote results in a number of embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in other countries.

He said the official results will be announced to Iran’s Interior Ministry by the representatives of the election commission at the Foreign Ministry after the ballot boxes are officially received from Iran’s diplomatic missions.

Kanaani noted that the official authority responsible for publishing the vote results is the election commission at the Interior Ministry.
