Iran decries coup attempt in Bolivia

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, Nasser Kanaani, in reaction to the coup attempt in Bolivia, said, “We condemn the coup against the foundations of democracy and the assault on democratic institutions and the legal government in Bolivia.”

“We emphasize on return to law and order and the restoration of power to the legal government of the country,” he added.
