Iraqi MP meets deputy Iran FM in Tehran

Jabbar al-Kanani Vice Chairman of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Iraqi Parliament and the head of Iraq’s parliamentary friendship group with the Islamic Republic of Iran met with Alireza Bikdeli Deputy for Consular Parliamentary and Iranians Affairs of Irans Foreign Ministry in Tehran.

 Jabbar al-Kanani, Vice Chairman of the Foreign Policy Commission of the Iraqi Parliament and the head of Iraq’s parliamentary friendship group with the Islamic Republic of Iran met with Alireza Bikdeli,

Deputy for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranians Affairs of Iran's Foreign Ministry in Tehran.

 In the meeting, the two sides underscored the importance of expanding popular ties and extensive cultural and religious commonalities between the two neighboring and Muslim countries.

They also exchanged views over the ways of strengthening parliamentary diplomacy and boosting cooperation in this regard between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq.
