Iran condemns US move to designate Ansarullah a terrorist organization
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani denounced on Thursday the US government for enlisting Yemen’s Ansarullah movement allegedly as a ‘terrorist’ organization saying the provocative move is in line with completing the US role in lending support for the child-killing Zionist regime’s crimes.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani denounced on Thursday the US government for enlisting Yemen’s Ansarullah movement allegedly as a ‘terrorist’ organization, saying the provocative move is in line with completing the US role in lending support for the child-killing Zionist regime’s crimes.
Kanaani said Ansarullah and the Yemeni people have been enraged by the US because of their support for the oppressed Palestinian people, adding the non-constructive move by Washington will fail to dampen the Yemeni people’s determination to support the oppressed people of Gaza.
The spokesman slammed the US’s unrestricted support for the sinister Zionist regime as the most detested terrorist organization in the world, saying it is the most important factor behind the instability in West Asia and the strategic area of the Red Sea.
He said, “If the US is sincere in expressing its concern about stability and security in the region, it should stop supporting the Zionist regime in its war crimes and genocide in Gaza.”
Kanaani noted that the US government is not morally qualified and lacks the legal authority to judge others, adding it should be held accountable in front of the world as a supporter of the terrorist Zionist regime’s war crimes.
The Iranian diplomat stated, “By calling the Ansarullah movement a terrorist group, the US once again showed that it is not willing to correct its wrong and destructive policies in the region and is still part of the problems and instability in the region.”
