Iran new ambassador to Oman meets FM Amirabdollahian

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s new Ambassador to Oman Mousa Farhang sat down with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein

The Islamic Republic of Iran’s new Ambassador to Oman Mousa Farhang sat down with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian before setting off on his new mission, and presented a report on the domain of his mission while elaborating on the programs on the agenda to further boost and upgrade Tehran-Muscat ties.

 In the meeting, Amirabdollahian said Oman has a prominent status in Iran’s good neighbor policy, stressing the need to follow up on the implementation of the agreements reached between the two countries.

The foreign minister also highlighted that the administration of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi is determined to enhance bilateral relations and deepen mutual cooperation on all political, economic and cultural fronts.

 Farhang has already served in the capacities of Deputy Iranian Ambassador to Tunisia, Deputy Head of the Iranian Mission in the United Arab Emirates, Chairperson of the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s Economic Department for the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, Chairperson of the ministry’s Department for the Middle East and North Africa, Iranian Ambassador to Tanzanian, Senior Expert on regional affairs, Senior Aide and Advisor to the foreign minister.
