Iran’s new consul general in Nakhejavan meets FM Amirabdollahian

Aziz Mansouri Iran’s new Consul General in Nakhejavan has met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian before leaving Tehran for the place of his mission.

Aziz Mansouri, Iran’s new Consul General in Nakhejavan has met with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian before leaving Tehran for the place of his mission.

 

In the meeting, Mansouri gave a report to Amirabdollahian about his plans during his tenure in Nakhejavan.

 

Amirabdollahian spoke about the relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan within the framework of the policy of neighborliness and underlined the need to expand cooperation between Tehran and Baku through Iranian diplomatic missions in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

Mansouri previously was the head of the Department of Multilateral Financial, Trade, Energy and Transportation Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
