Iran FM meets Iranian embassy staff, expats in Lebanon
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian met diplomats and other personnel as well as their family members at the Iranian embassy in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Friday night.

Also present at the meeting were officials and staff members of some Iranian institutions as well as a host of Iranian expatriates.
In the friendly meeting, a number of those present expressed their views on Iran-Lebanon relations as well as on their activities in Lebanon. Two of the guests also brought up issues related to economic, trade and cultural ties between Tehran and Beirut.
In a concluding speech, the top Iranian diplomat said he was pleased to be meeting his colleagues at the embassy as well as officials and personnel of Iranian institutions along with Iranian expats.
He then emphasized the need to preserve Iranians’ national identity across the globe and the importance of paying due regard to the family and children despite hardships and tight work schedules.
The foreign minister appreciated efforts by his colleagues and embassy staff to further boost bilateral relations between Iran and Lebanon.
