Iran FM meets with aide to Russian president

In a meeting with Igor Levitin, an aide to the Russian president, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian described ties between Tehran and Moscow as positive and excellent. Levitin for his part congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran's full accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

In the meeting the two officials exchanged views about the latest state and measures that are afoot to complete the Rasht-Astara railway project and also the three-way transit MoU between Iran, Russia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
