Iranian Foreign Minister visits EB Home

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian visited Iran’s EB Home (NGO for kids suffering the Butterfly Disease) on Wednesday.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian visited Iran’s EB Home (NGO for kids suffering the Butterfly Disease) on Wednesday.

During the visit, Amirabdollahian talked with the officials of the center and heard their concerns and the problems of the patients, especially the sufferings rooted in the cruel sanctions of the US and also met with a number of the children there.

The foreign minister also, in brief comments during the meeting, condemned the sanctions on medical equipment including the bandages needed for children suffering the Butterfly Disease, saying today unilateral sanctions have become a modern tool for violation of human rights.

Amirabdollahian noted that some foreign parties are shedding crocodile tears with claims of championing human rights for the Iranian nation, and with the aim of fomenting riots in Iran.
Amirabdollahian also announced a decision by the foreign ministry to slap sanctions against a number of parties involved in imposition of sanctions against the Iranian nation and also institutions that supported the riots and unrest in Iran.

The foreign minister also underlined the will and determination of the foreign ministry to help facilitate transfer of medical items needed for children affected with the Butterfly Disease to the country.
