Khatibzadeh welcomes extension of Yemen truce

Khatibzadeh said Iran hopes that in light of these efforts, the siege of Yemen will be lifted completely and the warring sides will achieve a lasting ceasefire and find a political solution to the Yemen crisis.

Khatibzadeh underlined that based on its strategic vision and rational policies, Iran has always believed that the Yemen crisis can only be resolved through political means and has used all its capacity to push for a fair peace based on Yemen’s realities.
