Dr Raisi, who had left for Russia at the official invitation of his Russian counterpart to deepen economic, political and cultural interactions, arrived at Moscow airport a few minutes ago.
Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and his high-ranking delegation were officially welcomed by Russian Energy Minister of Russia and Chairman of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission Nikolay Shulginov, and Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov upon arrival at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport on Wednesday.
During the welcoming ceremony, after the national anthem of the two countries was played, Dr Raisi reviewed the honour guards.
The first programme of this two-day trip is a meeting with the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
Attending and addressing the Duma, meeting with Iranians residing in Russia, and meeting with Russian economic actors will be part of the President's plans for the two-day trip.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Petroleum and Economic Affairs and Finance will accompany Dr Raisi on this trip.
