During the call, the Iranian Foreign Minister elaborated on the positions and perspectives of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding nuclear-related issues, underscoring Tehran’s focus on formulating a coherent and preliminary framework to advance the talks.
For his part, the IAEA Director General positively assessed the outcome of yesterday’s meeting in Geneva and expressed the Agency’s readiness to cooperate in facilitating the development of a negotiation framework.
The two sides also reviewed the results of the latest round of indirect talks between Iran and the United States in Geneva, consulting on the mechanisms and requirements necessary for drafting a preliminary negotiating framework.
