Iranian FM holds talks with Belarus counterpart in Minsk

During the meeting, the top diplomats of Iran and Belarus discussed bilateral relations and exchanged views on international developments.
The two sides welcomed the expanding relations between the two countries in various diplomatic, economic, trade, transport, transit, and industrial fields. They stressed the determination and will of their leaders to expand cooperation between the two countries.
Araghchi referred to the visit of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to Minsk in August of this year and said the Islamic Republic of Iran is seriously pursuing the implementation of understandings and agreements reached between the two presidents.
The Belarusian foreign minister noted the strength of Belarus-Iran relations, underlining his country’s seriousness in strengthening bilateral and multilateral ties in various fields.
The two sides also discussed ways to create synergy and cooperate within international organizations, including the UN and its affiliated bodies, as well as in multilateral frameworks, particularly BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and the Eurasian Economic Union, and also the Non-Aligned Movement, with the aim of helping to safeguard the rule of law and counter growing pressures against multilateralism.
At the end of the meeting, three cooperation documents between Tehran and Minsk were signed by the foreign ministers.
