Lebanese Amal Movements envoy meets FM Araghchi in Tehran

Salah Fahs the representative of the Lebanese Amal Movement in Tehran met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday evening.

Salah Fahs, the representative of the Lebanese Amal Movement in Tehran, met with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Monday evening.

In the meeting, Amal’s representative extended congratulations of Lebanese Parliament Speaker and leader of Amal Movement Nabih Berri to Araghchi on his appointment as Iran’s top diplomat and wished him success in his new post.

While thanking Nabih Berri for his congratulatory message, Araghchi sent his warm regards to the Lebanese parliament speaker. Araghchi also hailed Berri’s political stance and actions in support of the resistance and also praised the presence and sacrifices of Amal Movement fighters alongside the Hezbollah fighters in the battle against the Zionist regime's aggression on Lebanon and their support for Palestine and the oppressed people of Gaza.

The Iranian foreign minister then stressed the continuation of the principled policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in support of the resistance against the occupation of the Zionist regime.

In the meeting, the latest developments in Lebanon and the wider region were also discussed.
