Esmail Baqaei, the Spokesman for Iran's Foreign Ministry, condemned the Israeli regime's actions in preventing the delivery of essential supplies to the Gaza Strip and cutting off electricity to the enclave.
Baqaei said these measures are taken as part of a policy to impose famine and starvation on the oppressed Palestinian people, calling them a crime against humanity and a continuation of genocide.
Baqaei, pointing to the repeated violations and breaches of the Gaza ceasefire agreement by the occupying regime, recalled the shared and collective responsibility of all governments to stop the gross violations of international humanitarian law, which undoubtedly constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity.
He called for an end to the inaction of the United Nations Security Council and other competent international bodies in countering the crimes of the occupying regime and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
