Iranian Japanese FMs discuss regional developments cooperation
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi had a phone conversation on Tuesday with his Japanese counterpart Takeshi Iwaya to discuss regional developments.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi had a phone conversation on Tuesday with his Japanese counterpart Takeshi Iwaya to discuss regional developments.  Araghchi congratulated Takeshi on his appointment as Japan's Foreign Minister and underscored the importance of boosting and continuing the longstanding ties between Tehran and Tokyo.  The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the latest regional developments, highlighting the need for international efforts to prevent escalating insecurity in the region.  He also demanded the  immediate establishment of ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to refugees.  During the phone call, both ministers also stressed the importance of continuing dialogue to enhance bilateral relations and ensure peace and stability in the region.
