Iranian Foreign Minister met with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister during his visit to Jordan as part of an intensive regional diplomacy that has been ongoing for the past two weeks.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman al-Safadi on Wednesday during his visit to Jordan as part of an intensive regional diplomacy that has been ongoing for the past two weeks.   During their discussions, the ministers addressed topics of mutual interest, including bilateral ties and the latest regional developments.   Araghchi reviewed the critical situation in the region, stemming from the Zionist regime’s continued genocide in Gaza and its massive aggression in Lebanon.   He underscored the necessity for collective regional efforts to halt the occupying regime’s war machine, curb the spread of conflict, and safeguard regional stability and security for the benefit of the region's nations.   Expressing deep concern over the deteriorating security conditions in the region, Safadi reiterated Jordan's stance on the necessity of ending the killing of innocent people in Palestine and Lebanon.   He called for a halt to the aggressions and stressed the importance of preventing further destabilization in the region.   Both ministers also stressed the importance of mobilizing regional countries and the international community to assist refugees in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
