The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned a terrorist attack on coal miners in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. Esmaeil Baghai reiterated the Islamic Republic of Iran’s principled position in censuring all forms of terrorism and violent extremism. He stated that effectively tackling the malign phenomenon requires collaboration among all nations at both regional and international levels. The spokesperson extended sympathy to the victims and survivors of the atrocity and conveyed the condolences of the Iranian government and people to the government and the people of Pakistan. He also prayed for divine mercy for the deceased and a swift recovery for the injured.
