Iran’s defensive strikes targeted only US military sites in Qatar spokesman says

Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei said in a post on X that Iran’s defensive strikes had exclusively targeted US military facilities citing an official document submitted by Qatar to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) as evidence that no civilian areas were targeted.

The Qatari government has confirmed, in an official document submitted to the ITU, that Iran’s defensive strikes against American forces stationed on Qatari soil "were directed towards US military facilities. […] No civilian areas have been targeted.”
